The music video for ‘Schweben’ by Shema Rosa, released in 2023, transports viewers into an atmospheric world that captures the essence of dark wave and minimal wave. With this work, the band from Düsseldorf presents their first music video, which was created in collaboration with the production company TheCahrl.

Visually, the video captivates with its dark aesthetics, characterised by high-contrast black and white images and minimalist scenery. The reduced colour palette and targeted lighting create a mysterious yet hypnotic atmosphere that casts a spell over the viewer.

The collaboration with TheCahrl lends the video additional artistic depth. His signature is recognisable in the surreal visual elements and the experimental camera work, which give the video a unique aesthetic.
